Step-by-step instructions
Choose the QR type
Use URL for websites, Text for notes or short instructions, WiFi for network access, and Email for a pre-filled mail action.
Enter the payload
Paste the URL, write your text, or fill in the WiFi and email fields. QR Forge updates the preview as soon as enough content is present.
Set the output options
Free users can change the base size and download PNG files. Pro users can also change foreground and background colours, add a centered logo, export SVG, create higher-resolution PNGs, and access batch generation.
Test and download
Scan the code with a phone camera before sharing or printing it. Once it scans correctly, download the format you need.
Practical tips
- Use shorter payloads when possible to keep the QR pattern cleaner and easier to scan.
- Keep strong contrast between the QR modules and the background.
- If you add a logo with Pro, keep it compact and test the code again after export.
- Use SVG or high-resolution PNG when the QR code will be printed larger than a small label.
